The Polish Festival @ Federation Square is a perfect opportunity to bring your business or organisation to the attention of the Melbourne community and increase your exposure.
In 2011 we are seeking to expand the Polish "taste" experience by increasing the diversity of Polish dishes and refreshments. When deciding on the nature of your stall we encourage you to consider including a variety of dishes not previously found at the festival, but ones that are common in Polish households, such as the delectable kopytka z sosem, gulasz z miesem, bigos z chlebem or even barszcz z uszkami. We are particularly interested in someone setting up a refreshment (non-alcohol) stall in the form of a kafejka (café) on the River Terrace with tables and chairs, and which might even also sell suntan lotion.
It's important to note that being Polish isn't a prerequisite for holding a stall at the festival - in fact, we encourage non-Poles to join us
You just need to be keen to present Melbourne with a taste of Poland either through goods and services connected or associated with Poland or present Polish dishes (we could even help you with ideas or recipes).
Expression of Interest for 2011 are now closed
If you are interested in taking part in 2012 let us know and we will let you know when the expressions of interest become available in 2012
Federation Square has adopted a strong sustainable focus around the site, such as using Green Energy enabled by its energy provider AGL, the installation of rain water tanks which service the gardens and public toilets, and the implementation of a large waste and recycling program.
