We invite all children to come with their families and try their hand at - at least one - of our activities offered this year!
You won't be disappointed!
KIDSTOP offers a variety of carefully planned and prepared kids' activities which aim to break the boredom and provide some age-appropriate entertainment (all children up to the age of seven, or even eight years).

Our children's activities are run free of charge.
All you have to do is come in, sit down and start creating!
PLEASE NOTE: While we will be providing activities for children, this is not a babysitting service and so parents will be asked to remain in close proximity to the KIDSTOP marquee at all times. |

The KIDSTOP marquee will be situated down the steps from the main stage at Federation Square, to the left, along the River Terrace. That's where every year during the Festival families with children tend to gather and catch up with each other. |

| Polish Accessories-making |
|
A must have for every (not just Polish) girl and boy. While boys might like to engage in making a paper Kraków Dragon mask for themselves, the girls will get a chance to mix and match colours and wear home a flowery head-piece as a memento of their participation in the Festival day. |

| ‘I have been to Polish Festival’ Badge-making |
|
This is something not JUST for the kiddies. Another must have for our Festival visitors! Choose and colour in a design (pop it into a machine – manned by our volunteers!) and you are ready to wear your badge and proudly display your participation in the Polish Festival. Another great memento from the Festival. |

Polish Cut-outs
|
|
Learn the basics of polskie wycinanki (Polish cut-outs), all done by hand using just scissors and coloured paper, and featuring traditional Polish motifs. Watch our Resident Master at work.
The Master tells us that some can be completed in just 5 minutes, while others may take a couple of hours. Come and try your hand at one… or two… Our Resident Master will take you through the process step by step. |
PLEASE NOTE:- All tables and all activities will be manned by a group of dedicated volunteers (not necessarily of Polish background!), and Polish Saturday School teachers from Melbourne. All activities have been tested to comply with the safety and enjoyment requirements of the little people.
Polish Scouts – Harcerze – FACE PAINTING
As every year, Polish Scouts will make their presence known near the KIDSTOP marquee – brushes in hand, white and red paints at the ready. If you’d like to show off your true – POLISH – colours, come down to see them. For a small gold coin donation, they’ll help you proudly display the national colours on your cheeks in no time.
