Albert Rawdanowicz
Albert is 9 years old and his first instrument was the piano, which he started to play at the age of 6. He is taught by his mum Beata. Shortly after he also began learning to play the violin, which he is taught by his older sister Klara.
3 years ago he also began learning to play percussion instruments, and this year picked up bass lessons. He learns both of these instruments at private lessons from his school and he is making amazing progress. The reason he chose these instruments was to support his family band, as they were the sounds most needed.
Therefore, for the last 3 years, Albert has been a major part of the family band, which performs at numerous Polish and church concerts, so far. To date, the most memorable performances for Albert were at Pol Art in Melbourne and Brisbane.
In addition, Albert sings in the school choir, and at his Polish school concerts. He is also a member of his school junior strings orchestra.
In his free time Albert mostly enjoys reading books (about technology, space, and all modes of transport) as well as building LEGO, and all kinds of sport. He loves riding his bike and rollerblades, playing soccer and basketball. He is also an excellent swimmer and a fabulous dancer in many styles, including in Polish folk dance, in the “Polonez” ensemble.
Albert ma 9 lat, a jego pierwszym instrumentem było pianino na którym rozpoczął naukę w wieku 6 lat. Uczy go mama Beata. Niedługo potem rozpoczął też naukę gry na skrzypcach, na których uczy go grać starsza siostra Klara.
Od 3 lat uczy się też gry na instrumentach perkusyjnych, a w tym roku rozpoczął również naukę na kontrabasie. Na obu tych instrumentach pobiera lekcje prywatne w swojej szkole, i robi ogromne postępy. A wybrał te instrumenty aby wesprzeć rodzinny zespół, gdyż właśnie tych najbardziej im brakowało.
A więc od 3 lat, Albert pełni bardzo ważną rolę w zespole rodzinnym, który bierze udział w wielu występach polonijnych i kościelnych, jak na razie. Dotychczas, najbardziej pamiętne występy Alberta były na PolArt’ach w Melbourne oraz w Brisbane.
Ponadto Albert śpiewa w szkolnym chórze, oraz na koncertach swojej polskiej szkoły. Jest również członkiem szkolnej orkiestry smyczkowej.
W swoim wolnym czasie Albert najbardziej lubi czytać książki ( o technologii, kosmosie i wszelkich pojazdach) i budować Lego, oraz wszelki sport. Lubi jeździć na rowerze i rolkach, grać w piłkę nożną i koszykówkę. Jest również bardzo dobrym pływakiem i wspaniałym tańcerzem w wielu różnych stylach, polskim ludowym również, w zespole “Polonez”.
