Artur Gotz – special show for the Virtual Polish Festival @ Federation Square

Artur Gotz born in Krakow, actor and singer of the young generation, a graduate of the State Higher Theatre School Ludwik Solski in Kraków – Branch in Wrocław (2006). He has been performing on stage since he was eleven. At the age of 15, he began working with The Imagination Theatre in London, where he performed in three premieres. Currently, an actor of the stages of Warsaw (Teatr 6. floor) and Łódź (Teatr Nowy named after K. Dejmek), in the years 2006-2009 he was an actor of the Entertainment Theatre in Chorzów, he collaborated with the Współczesny Theatre and the Kamienica Theatre in Warsaw. He made his debut as a vocalist at Piwnica pod Baranami in Krakow.

Artur Gotz played over 500 solo recitals all over Poland, Europe and during three tours around the USA, as well as during two tours in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide, Newcastle and Hobart in Tasmania) and New Zealand ( Christchurch, Wellington) and in Cuba (Havana).

For many years, he has been conducting theatre workshops for young people and students, as well as for people with disabilities, and voice emission workshops for teachers and people who work with voice. He also conducted workshops for professional Cuban actors in Havana.

He lives and works in Warsaw.

Artur Gotz urodzony w Krakowie aktor i wokalista młodego pokolenia, absolwent Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Teatralnej im. Ludwika Solskiego w Krakowie – Filia we Wrocławiu (2006). Występuje na scenie od jedenastego roku życia. W wieku 15 lat rozpoczął współpracę z Teatrem The Imagination w Londynie, gdzie wystąpił w trzech premierach. Aktualnie aktor scen Warszawy (Teatr 6. piętro) i Łodzi (Teatr Nowy im. K. Dejmka), w latach 2006-2009 był aktorem Teatru Rozrywki w Chorzowie, współpracował z Teatrem Współczesnym i Teatrem Kamienica w Warszawie. Jako wokalista debiutował w krakowskiej Piwnicy pod Baranami.

Artur Gotz zagrał ponad 500 solowych recitali w całej Polsce, Europie oraz podczas trzech tournée po USA, a także podczas dwóch tras koncertowych po Australii (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Adelajda, Newcastle i Hobart na Tasmanii) i Nowej Zelandii (Christchurch, Wellington) oraz na Kubie (Hawana).

Od wielu lat prowadzi warsztaty teatralne dla młodzieży i studentów, a także dla osób niepełnosprawnych oraz warsztaty z emisji głosu mówionego dla nauczycieli i osób pracujących głosem. Prowadził również warsztaty dla zawodowych aktorów kubańskich w Hawanie.
