Kristof Kaczmarek is best known for his lead part in The Sound of One Hand Clapping and appearance in numerous TV series as Stingers, Blue Heelers and Rush. He performed at the side of Sasha Horler, Kerry Fox and Jacky Chan (First Strike) or John Wood. He is a graduate of the famous Academy of Theatre, Film & TV, in Lodz, Poland, and after arriving in Australia, he co-established Theatre Zart in WA. Since then, he has produced, directed and appeared in over 40 professional theatre productions, both in Australia and Poland. His favourite theatre works include absurdist and thought –provoking plays of Sartre, Beckett, Mrozek, Witkacy or Albee. Currently, Kristof is an Artistic Director of Exit Theatre, a theatre company situated in Yarra Valley.
Story line. An old ramshackle shop, a place where a band of gypsies was formerly located. Now, it is nothing more than a rubbish tip. In the middle of old clothes and broken objects we see an old man – busy talking to flies. This is his whole life until a violent young man (Luke Lennox) enters the room and challenges him. But the Old (Kristof Kaczmarek), representing experience and wisdom, is stronger, which leads to an unexpected turn of events.
This two-act suspenseful drama evolves around the themes of exsistence, betrayal, murder, love, understanding… and forgivness.

Opiekun Much, który wygrał miano najlepszego europejskiego dramatu w 1993, jest przykładem połączenia realizmu i teatru absurdu. Jest to sztuka traktujaca o poszukiwaniu związków miedzyludzkich, przyjaźni, ale też zdradzie, zrozumieniu i wybaczaniu.
Akcja rozgrywa sie w starym, zrujnowanym sklepie, gdzie widz znajduje Starego (Krzysztof Kaczmarek) karmiacego muchy. Jego rutyna zostaje przerwana przybyciem Mlodego (Luke Lennox) – uciekiniera, poszukującego jedzenia i pieniędzy. W kołowrocie wydarzeń, zawiązuje się silna więź pomiedzy bohaterami.
Nie jest to jedyny wątek Opiekuna Much – do odkrycia pozostałych zapraszamy na przedstawienie.

Dramaturg, scenarzysta, autor tekstów piosenek. Prowadził wielokrotnie nagradzane teatry amatorskie w Warszawie i Zakopanem. W 1991 roku wygrał ostatnią edycję Konkursu na Debiut Dramaturgiczny w Teatrze Ateneum w Warszawie. Finalista First European Drama Award organizowanego przez Onassis Foundation. Sztuka „Opiekun Much” grana była w Niemczech, Polsce i Australii. Wielokrotny laureat Konkursu na Sztukę dla Dzieci i Młodzieży organizowanego przez Centrum Sztuki Dziecka w Poznaniu. Autor m.in. tekstu piosenki Michała Bajora „Panie, który jesteś”. Autor Teatru TV i Teatru TV dla Dzieci i Młodzieży. Scenarzysta hitowych serial m.in. „Magda M.” (3 Telekamery i wiele innych nagród), „Teraz albo nigdy”, „Szpilki na Giewoncie” i innych. W czerwcu 2018 wydał bestsellerową powieść „Magda M. Ciąg dalszy nastąpił”, która jest kontynuacją stworzonego przez niego serialu. Prywatnie wielbiciel południowych mórz i dumny opiekun angielskiego springer spaniela, Frodo.
Krzysztof Kaczmarek jest aktorem i reżyserem dobrze znanym Polonii, gdyż od lat wystepuje na deskach teatrów australijskich , na srebnym ekranie czy wydarzeniach polonijnych. Zagrał w wielu filmach i serialch, głównie australijskich, u boku takich znanych aktorów jak Joh Wood, Kerry Fox, Ioan Gruffud czy Jacky Chan.
Jego najwiekszym sukcesem byla rola Bojana w filmie Richarda Flanagana – “The Sound of One Hand Capping”, ale najwiekszą pasją zawsze zostanie teatr. Krzysztof przez lata prowadził Teatr Żart, a obecnie jest związany z Teatrem Exit, usytuowanym w Yarra Valley, gdzie aktor zamieszkuje. Ostatnio mieli Państwo okazje widziec Krzysztofa w przedstawieniu S. Mrowinskiego “Sprężyna” i miejmy nadzieje nie ostatnim.
Teatre Exit jest grupa teatralna, ktora promuje nowatorskie utwory teatralne prezentujace zwiazki miedzyludzkie, absurdalne sytuacje czy tez poszukujace znaczenia codziennosci. Mimo, ze glowny repertuar grupy opiera sie na wspolczesnym teatrze europejskim, Teatr Exit uwielbia wystawiac Czechowa czy Dostojewskiego.
