An artist with an unique voice and songwriting style, in love with music since she remembers, Natty Michalak is a singer who delights in performing, writing and arranging music. Australia born, raised in Poland, she has spent the last several years studying music, writing songs, busking and performing at events and festivals all around the world (Poland, Australia, South Korea and England to name a few), and is now most pleased to be sharing her second single, ‘Czarujący Pan’ (eng. ‘A Charming Man.’)

A Polish-Australian contemporary singer & musician, Natty is fascinated with languages and sings not only Polish and English, but also French, Italian, Korean, Spanish, German, Portugese, Japanese and Mandarin. She highly values writing music for its beauty and strives to give a warm, organic touch to her music, both in her own voice and in production sound. Influenced by the sounds and writing styles of such diverse artists as: Becca Stevens, Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, Gian Slater, The Lumineers, Djavan and Gotye drawing from genres such as folk, jazz, r’n’b & organic voice arrangements, Michalak focuses on crafting intriguing lyrics and then arranges the music around them to serve the atmosphere of the song.

Michalak is currently working on her debut EP in Polish.

Artystka o unikalnym głosie i stylu pisania piosenek, zakochana w muzyce od zawsze, Natty Michalak to piosenkarka, która uwielbia wykonywanie, pisanie i aranżację muzyki. Urodzona w Australii, wychowana w Polsce, spędziła ostatnie kilka lat studiując muzykę, pisząc piosenki, organizując koncerty i występując w wydarzeniach i festiwalach na całym świecie (między innymi w Polsce, Australii, Korei Południowej i Anglii), a obecnie z przyjemnością dzieli się promocją swojego drugiego singla: „Czarujący Pan” (ang. „A Charming Man.”)

Natty to współczesna polsko-australijska piosenkarka i muzyk, jest zafascynowana językami i śpiewa nie tylko po polsku i angielsku, ale także po francusku, włosku, koreańsku, hiszpańsku, niemiecku, portugalsku, japońsku i mandaryńsku. Bardzo ceni sobie pisanie muzyki ze względu na jej piękno i stara się nadać swojej muzyce ciepły, organiczny akcent, zarówno własnym głosem, jak i brzmieniem produkcyjnym. Pod wpływem brzmień i stylów pisania tak różnorodnych artystów jak: Becca Stevens, Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, Gian Slater, The Lumineers, Djavan i Gotye czerpiąc z gatunków takich jak folk, jazz, r’n’b i organiczne aranżacje głosowe, Michalak skupia się na tworzeniu intrygujących tekstów, a następnie aranżuje wokół nich muzykę, by oddawała klimat piosenki.

Michalak pracuje obecnie nad swoją debiutancką EP-ką w języku polskim.

“This song was written and recorded as a collaboration between Warsaw (where I live now) and Melbourne (where my producer and lyrics consultants live). The purpose of this song is to show the current situation of women who are single and often faced with men’s indecision or ghosting. It is very possible that the situation is similar with the role reversal, but I wrote from my experience. The main purpose of the song is to portray a romantic situation that is very enjoyable but doesn’t lead to anything. So in a way the song is about aimlessness and being in limbo. ”
